I was scheduled over the phone by a rep at 9:30 am for an appt To get an MMR antibody test. Unfortunately there was no lab that day. They knew by 10 am that was true. No calls or anything. I check in at 1:35 pm for a 2:00 pm appt. I am seen at 2:15 pm for that appointment. I was previously seen at El Rio Cherryvale which gave me excellent service. I cannot say that herr. When I was taken back to the room, the attending person first rolled her eyes at me. Next she asked me if I lived at the Gospel Rescue Mission (Im black so I guess thats whats okay here). I then am asked what Im here today for. I informed her after I informed the staff at the counter that I was there for MMR antobodies testing. (Need to sayit took my 1.5 hrs but bus and a 17 min walk to get there). She said oh there isn’t lab here today so you will need to go elsewhere. I got my stuff up and she said oh we can check you in and then you can go elsewhere. I missed two major appointments to make sure I was on time and ready for them. No care or concern was extended to me. I know an outfit that has issues with blacks but I think this is bigger than racism; this is systemic failure where being a failure is not flagged.

The doctors are very helpful go above and beyond to keep you healthy the staff is proffessional and very kind. I would recommend this El Rio any day.
